Car parking on arrivals weekend

Posted 3 days ago

Where to park on campus

Getting to campus should be the easy part of your day, which is why there are designated parking areas for all students across Coventry campuses.

Arrivals Weekend

You can park opposite Bishop Gate to collect your keys and move your belongings.

Upon arrival, you will be issued with a free 30-minute parking permit with your departure time on it. Please check on your arrival day, as the permit may not be available on specific dates. If the permit isn't available, you can still use the car park opposite, but you will need to pay and display your ticket.

After your allotted 30 minutes, you will then be asked to move your car elsewhere. Here is a list of pay-and-display car parks nearby:

Please note that most of these car parks are operated by Coventry City Council or by a private company, and therefore parking charges will likely be in force.

Parking costs on campus

Student parking is affordable and flexible, choose between:

  • £3 per day in all university car parks
  • £2 for up to 4 hours (no return on the same day)

Payment is made through the RingGo app, so make sure you have it downloaded before you arrive.

So whether you're on campus for a full day of study or just dropping in for a morning seminar, you can pick the option that suits you.

Accessible parking on campus

Coventry University provides designated parking spaces for individuals with disabilities, located close to campus buildings and equipped with features to accommodate individuals with mobility challenges.
